Turn a target into a concrete next step
A target feels different when you can see the remaining amount and the next contribution. Start with one purpose: an emergency reserve, a trip, an annual bill or another purchase you are planning. Enter the full target and only the money already set aside for that purpose.
The calculator subtracts your current savings from the target, then divides the remainder by your monthly contribution. A partial final month still needs one contribution, so the result rounds the contribution count up. The last contribution may be smaller than your usual amount; it is shown separately so the plan adds up.
Compare a plan you can repeat
Try two contribution amounts and compare the results. A larger monthly amount reaches the target sooner, but the useful plan is one you can continue. If the result is zero contributions, the amount entered as already saved has reached or exceeded the target.
Use the same currency in every field. This tool does not convert currencies, add interest or predict investment returns. It calculates from the numbers you enter; it does not connect to a bank or move money. Your entries are processed in this browser and are not uploaded by this tool.
