Local Data Notice
Gizmo is designed to store timer rows and Committed Time entries locally on each device.
We cannot access, recover, back up, or delete timer content that is stored only on your device. Deleting the App, deleting local files, losing your device, disabling backups, resetting your device, or running out of storage may permanently delete local content.
Depending on your device settings, local app data may be included in device backups or cloud backups controlled by you, Apple, or your device provider. We do not control those backup settings.
Download and Billing
Gizmo has no subscriptions, trials, paywall, consumables, or in-app purchases. Apple displays the current download price, if any, before you obtain the App.
App Store purchases, refunds, taxes, Family Sharing, and Apple Account billing are handled by Apple. We do not receive your full payment-card number and do not control Apple’s refund decisions.
Refund requests for App Store purchases should be submitted to Apple through Apple's refund process. We do not control Apple's refund decisions.
Common Questions
Can multiple timers run at once?
Yes. Gizmo is designed to allow multiple independent elapsed timers to run at the same time.
Do my devices sync?
No. Gizmo does not include cloud sync. Timers and committed entries remain in the local app container on the device where you created them.
Is Gizmo a countdown or Pomodoro app?
No. Gizmo is an elapsed-time tracker. It is not a countdown timer, Pomodoro system, calendar, reminder app, habit tracker, or project-management dashboard.
What is Completed and Committed Time?
Completed and Committed Time is a local convenience record for elapsed time you choose to mark as complete. It is not a payroll, billing, legal-records, audit, compliance, or professional timekeeping system.
Can support recover my timers?
No. If timer content is stored only on your device, we cannot access or recover it for you.
