Photo Cleaner data information

Photos stay on your device

Inspection, image reconstruction, metadata checking, and ZIP creation happen locally in your browser. Photo Cleaner does not send photo bytes, filenames, metadata values, or inspection findings to our server. This product contains no advertising or analytics trackers.

Local storage

The browser stores cleaned copies, their filenames and inspection summaries, random operation identifiers, and the free-cleaning status. Copies remain until removed or browser storage is cleared. The signed-in email and account access key are stored locally so your balance can be restored. Signing out removes that local account credential; it does not remove downloaded files or saved copies.

Account and purchase information

Myworkingmemory LLC stores your email, a hash of the account key, verification status, purchase and credit records, random operation identifiers, and a record of the purchase and data information acknowledged at sign-in. Sign-in codes are single-use and expire after 15 minutes; the server stores their hashes. The email provider Resend delivers verification messages.

Stripe handles checkout, payment information, tax where applicable, and payment status. Our service uses Stripe transaction identifiers, payment status, email, and amounts to credit purchases and reconcile refunds or disputes. Photo Cleaner does not receive your full payment card number.

Service operation

The website and API are hosted on Vercel; account and credit records use the existing Neon database. Requests disclose ordinary connection information to hosting providers. The application derives a keyed hash of the network address to limit abuse and stores time-limited rate counters. Account, purchase, and credit records remain available to support non-expiring credits and purchase recovery.
