What myworkingmemory is
myworkingmemory combines three Basic working-memory games with optional games, themed content, and focus tools. It runs on iPhone and iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro where those versions are offered by the App Store.
It is a training and wellbeing tool. It does not diagnose anything, treat anything, or measure your health, and no score it shows you means anything clinical.
The three Basic games
Numbers flashes a sequence of digits one at a time. Colors lights up coloured tiles in order. Words shows a short list of words. In each one you hold the items, answer a few quick arithmetic problems that interrupt you on purpose, and then give back what you remembered.
The minus and plus buttons set the level. A higher level means more items and more interruption. Level changes are saved for that exercise, so the app opens where you left off.
Words lets you choose the list: everyday nouns, business and finance, medical, legal, psychology, SAT and GRE vocabulary, culinary, or your own custom list. A custom list needs at least twenty words before it can be used.
You may start one Basic session per calendar day on each device. Numbers, Colors, and Words share that one session. Starting a Basic session uses the day's session even if you do not finish it.
More games and worlds
The current catalog offers 25 additional familiar games, including Match Pairs, Word Search, Trivia Quiz, Bingo, Maze, and Repeat the Pattern. Each game includes Basic content and can also use the worlds you own.
The current catalog also offers 54 worlds covering sports, cars and machines, animals, cinema and culture, and broader everyday subjects. A world adds Numbers, Colors, Words, and Mixed content inside games you own. Worlds are offered individually and in five-world collections.
A game purchase opens that game. A world purchase opens that content in games you own. These purchases do not change the daily limit on Numbers, Colors, or Words. Your available items appear under My Games & Worlds.
Recall now, or recall in five minutes
Before you begin you can choose to recall straight away or after a five-minute delay. If you choose the delay, the app schedules a reminder on your device and you go and do something else. Come back when it tells you and finish the round. A delayed round expires after an hour.
The reminder is a normal local notification. It is created on your device and never leaves it. If you have not allowed notifications, open the app again after five minutes and the round will be waiting.
Planner, Box Breathing, and My Anchors
Planner holds a short list of intentions for a day, grouped into morning, afternoon, and evening. Move between days with the arrows.
Box Breathing paces four seconds in, four held, four out, four held. On Mac and Apple Vision Pro it can open in a window of its own so it can sit beside whatever else you are doing.
My Anchors keeps short phrases you want to hear again, and sends them back to you as reminders during the day. You choose morning, midday, evening, a specific time, or a random time between seven in the morning and nine at night, and you can turn reminders off for any anchor without deleting it.
Each tool is available through its stated in-app purchase. Focus Tools opens all three.
On the Mac
The Mac version is a real Mac app. Sections are in a sidebar, the window resizes, menu items have keyboard shortcuts, and the pointer works the way you expect. Digits can be typed on the keyboard during recall instead of clicking the on-screen pad, Return begins a round and submits an answer, and Command-Return submits a list of words.
File ▸ Export Progress writes a comma-separated summary of your practice wherever you choose to save it. File ▸ Print Progress prints a readable version. The share button in the toolbar shares the same plain-text summary. All three are things you start; the app never writes or sends anything on its own.
Settings (Command-comma) holds the word list, notification status, purchases, and legal links.
On Apple Vision Pro
Everything sits in one window you can place where you like, with sections along the side and controls for the tools and catalog. Box Breathing can open in a window of its own.
Purchases and restoring access
The catalog states what each purchase opens. Apple's purchase sheet shows the current price for your country or region before you confirm. Apple processes payment and decides refund requests under its rules and applicable law. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
On another device, choose Restore Purchases while signed in to the App Store with the Apple Account used for the purchase. Availability across devices and Family Sharing follow Apple's rules and the product's App Store configuration.
Customers who qualified during the former plan's transition receive Legacy Supporter catalog access after the app verifies their Apple transaction history. A refunded or revoked transaction does not qualify.
Invite a friend
Invite a Friend opens the system share sheet with the app's App Store link. You choose whether and where to send it. The app does not reward, track, or identify invitations.
Where is my information kept?
Levels, recent sessions, progress summaries, custom words, planner entries, anchors, game completion counts, the daily Basic-session record, and verified purchase access are stored locally on your device. There is no Company account or Company cloud sync, and the app does not send that content to us.
We cannot recover local information. If you delete the app, reset the device, or lose it, what was stored there may be lost. Each device keeps its own levels, history, and daily Basic session.
Deleting what the app has stored
Delete an anchor by swiping it and a planner item with its remove control. Replace or clear a custom word list from its editor. Deleting the app removes its local storage. Apple separately keeps purchase records under its policies.
Accessibility
The app labels its main controls for VoiceOver and Voice Control, follows the system's Reduce Motion setting, and uses symbols and words as well as color in the Colors game. Mac also supports pointer and keyboard input. If something is hard to read, reach, or identify, email us.
