Fix My Video:
AI Enhancer/Edit Privacy Policy
Effective September 16, 2026
The short version: a local preview stays on your device. If you deliberately start an available paid cloud-restoration job, an app-owned video copy is uploaded to private AWS storage and temporarily processed by fal. Private AWS video objects automatically delete within 24 hours. fal request-payload storage is disabled, and fal's generated media is assigned a one-hour lifecycle. The App has no advertising or cross-app tracking.
1. Scope and company
This Privacy Policy explains how Myworkingmemory LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") handles information for Fix My Video: AI Enhancer/Edit (the "App"), its optional cloud-restoration service, support, and the App pages at myworkingmemory.ai (collectively, the "Services").
Myworkingmemory LLC is a Tennessee limited liability company at 1515 Demonbreun St. 1121, Nashville, TN 37203, United States. Email dean@myworkingmemory.ai.
Local preview and paid cloud restoration are different. Sections concerning cloud processing apply only if your installed App Store build clearly offers cloud restoration and you choose to start it.
2. The two processing paths
Local preview
You select an MP4 or MOV through Apple's file picker. The App creates an app-owned temporary working copy, reads technical details, and can render a preview of the first 12 seconds on your device. The App does not overwrite the source file. The preview includes the source audio track. Local preview content is not sent to Company, AWS, or fal.
The App may use Apple's on-device Foundation Models framework, where available, to explain controls using basic file metadata, current settings, and recent in-app messages. The helper does not inspect video frames. Its fallback guidance also runs locally. Company does not receive those helper messages through ordinary use.
Optional paid cloud restoration
Cloud restoration begins only after you choose it and the server verifies an eligible Apple transaction, available allowance, file limits, and bounded processing authorization. The App uploads an app-owned working copy to private Amazon Web Services ("AWS") storage through a short-lived upload link. The service gives fal - Features & Labels Inc. ("fal") a short-lived private link so fal can access and process that copy.
fal returns generated media at an unguessable URL that is publicly accessible to anyone who possesses the URL during its one-hour lifecycle. We do not display or give that fal URL to the customer. The service copies the result into private AWS storage, validates it, attempts to attach the source audio track without changing that audio content, and gives the App a separate short-lived private download link.
We send fal requests with request-payload storage disabled using X-Fal-Store-IO: 0, provider-managed automatic retries disabled, and a one-hour generated-media lifecycle. These settings do not promise deletion before that lifecycle finishes and do not control fal's separate security, usage, billing, or legally required records.
3. Information processed
| Category | Examples | Why it is used |
|---|---|---|
| Selected video and audio | The app-owned copy of the MP4 or MOV you choose, including any people, voices, places, text, or other content already in that file | Make the preview you request or, only when chosen, perform cloud restoration and deliver the result |
| Media details | Filename, type, byte size, duration, dimensions, frame rate, orientation, audio presence, and a cryptographic file digest | Check compatibility and limits, bind a quote to a file, prevent duplicate or altered requests, and troubleshoot |
| Apple commerce data | Signed transaction data; transaction and original-transaction identifiers; product identifier; purchase, expiration, and revocation dates; storefront or environment information Apple supplies; and refund or renewal status | Verify payment and subscription status, issue a finite allowance measured in video-processing seconds, restore eligible access, deduplicate transactions, and respond to revocations |
| Pseudonymous app identity | A randomly generated appAccountToken, stored in Keychain where available, plus short-lived service session tokens | Bind an Apple transaction and allowance to the same installation without asking for a Company username or password |
| Job and service records | Quote, job, request, provider-request, and idempotency identifiers; requested settings; states; timestamps; measured clip duration rounded up to a whole second; retry count; reserved and measured cost; processing seconds reserved or consumed; file digests; error codes; deletion status | Run the job, stop duplicate spending, enforce limits and budgets, return status, delete temporary media, and keep an audit trail |
| Integrity and security data | App Attest key identifiers, challenges, assertions, counters, validation outcome, IP address, request time, user agent, and security or abuse signals | Confirm requests come from a legitimate App instance, prevent replay, protect purchases, rate-limit abuse, and secure the service |
| Support information | Email address, message, files or screenshots you choose to send, App version, iOS version, and job identifier | Answer you, troubleshoot, and maintain necessary support and legal records |
| Website request data | IP address, date and time, requested page, browser or device information, referrer, region inferred by hosting infrastructure, and routine security logs | Serve, secure, and troubleshoot these pages |
App Attest uses cryptographic integrity signals. We do not use it for face recognition, fingerprints, voiceprints, or other biometric identification.
4. What we do not receive through ordinary local preview
Company does not receive the selected video, preview, helper conversation, chosen look, strength, or export merely because you use local preview. The App has no Company username or password, social profile, public gallery, contacts access, precise-location feature, advertising identifier, advertising SDK, or third-party product-analytics SDK.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. We do not use customer videos to train our own artificial-intelligence models or create advertising profiles.
5. How information is used
We use information we actually receive to:
- provide the cloud-restoration job you deliberately request;
- verify Apple transactions, renewals, refunds, revocations, and finite allowances measured in video-processing seconds;
- authenticate the App, issue short-lived sessions, prevent replay and duplicate charges, and enforce file, rate, retry, allowance, and spending limits;
- validate output, attach source audio, deliver a temporary result, and confirm deletion;
- operate, monitor, secure, debug, and improve reliability without using video content for Company model training;
- answer support, privacy, safety, and legal requests;
- maintain tax, accounting, App Store, fraud-prevention, security, dispute, and legal records; and
- comply with law and enforce the Terms.
6. Service providers and disclosures
We disclose information only as needed for the Services, business operations, protection, or law:
- Apple: distributes the App and handles StoreKit purchases, subscription management, refunds, transaction status, App Attest, App Store reports, and related platform services under Apple's privacy policy.
- AWS: hosts the private upload and result objects, serverless API and job components, database records, queues, keys, and service logs in the United States under AWS's privacy notice.
- fal: temporarily accesses the selected video and produces the restored video using its AI processing platform. fal and its infrastructure providers process content and service information under fal's privacy policy and applicable service terms.
- Vercel: hosts myworkingmemory.ai and handles routine website request and security information under Vercel's privacy policy.
- Operational recipients: email, professional-advisor, insurance, accounting, security, and support providers may receive information reasonably needed for their work.
- Legal and business events: information may be disclosed where reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, protect rights or safety, investigate abuse, or complete a merger, financing, reorganization, or asset transfer subject to appropriate obligations.
We may also disclose information at your direction or with your consent, and may use aggregated or deidentified information that does not reasonably identify a person.
7. Retention and deletion
- Private AWS video objects: the uploaded input copy and private result object automatically delete within 24 hours. Short-lived access URLs expire separately and may stop working sooner.
- fal media: generated fal media is assigned a one-hour lifecycle. The fal result URL remains accessible to anyone who obtains its unguessable URL until fal's lifecycle deletion occurs. We do not promise deletion before that lifecycle completes.
- fal request payloads: storage is disabled with
X-Fal-Store-IO: 0. fal may retain separate service, network, usage, security, billing, backup, or legally required records under its policies. - Service logs: routine Company-controlled AWS application logs are scheduled for deletion after seven days, unless isolated and retained longer to investigate abuse, a security incident, or a legal obligation.
- Job, entitlement, transaction, budget, fraud, and deletion records: records without the video content may be retained as reasonably necessary to provide and restore allowances, honor refunds and revocations, prevent duplicate use or fraud, reconcile costs, maintain tax and accounting records, resolve disputes, and comply with law.
- Support and business records: retained as reasonably necessary for the request, security, tax, accounting, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and ordinary business operations.
After temporary video deletion, Company cannot recover the input or result for you. Device copies, files you export, destinations you choose, Apple records, provider backups, and information another person obtains are outside Company's direct deletion control.
8. Security
The planned cloud service uses private AWS storage, public-access blocking, encryption at rest, short-lived signed links, least-privilege service roles, server-side Apple transaction verification, App Attest where available, idempotency controls, file probing, finite allowances, bounded retries, rate limits, spending limits, and limited log retention. The fal credential remains on the server and is not placed in the App.
No device, transmission, provider, access URL, storage service, or security measure is perfectly secure. Keep result links private, download promptly, protect your device and Apple Account, and do not submit a video you are not permitted to process.
9. Faces, voices, children, and sensitive content
A video you select may contain faces, voices, children, locations, documents, health details, or other sensitive information. The service processes the file to create the requested visual result; Company does not use the App for face recognition, identity verification from faces or voices, emotion inference, or biometric-template creation.
The Services are not directed to children under 13. Do not upload a child's video unless you are the parent or legal guardian or otherwise have every permission required by law. If you believe a child submitted personal information without proper authorization, email us.
10. Your choices and privacy rights
- Use local preview without starting cloud restoration.
- Do not select a file you do not want processed.
- Decline cloud restoration before uploading.
- Download or delete local and exported copies through your device and chosen storage provider.
- Manage subscription cancellation and refund requests through Apple.
- Email dean@myworkingmemory.ai to ask about access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, appeal, or another right available where you live.
We may need information to verify a request. We cannot provide or delete video that has already been automatically deleted, and we cannot alter Apple's records or files held solely on your device or by a destination you chose. Some records may be retained where law permits or requires.
Depending on your location, you may complain to a privacy regulator. Some privacy laws apply only above specified business or processing thresholds; Company complies when a law applies.
11. United States and international use
Company operates from the United States. AWS cloud processing is planned in the United States. fal and other providers may process information in the United States and other places where they or their subprocessors operate. Those locations may have privacy laws different from your own.
Where applicable, our legal bases include performing the service or contract you request, protecting and operating the Services through legitimate interests, complying with law, and consent where required. Non-waivable rights under the laws that apply to you remain available.
12. Changes
We may update this Policy as the product, providers, or law changes. The current version will show a revised effective date. Material changes will receive notice or consent where required. We will update this Policy before introducing a materially different data practice.
