Write to support@myworkingmemory.ai. Include the Meridian version, your device and operating-system version, and what happened just before the problem. A screenshot helps. Do not send passwords, payment details, your Apple Account credentials, or other sensitive information.

The two games

• Today’s Word is one five-letter deduction a day. Everyone gets the same word, worked out on your device from the day number, so no server is involved. Six rows, and the keyboard dims the letters you have ruled out.
• The world is a wheel of letters feeding a board of words. Trace across the wheel, or tap the letters one at a time and press submit. Eight regions and 128 levels, opening in order as you finish levels.
• Daily Journey is a five-stop run that changes every day and keeps its own progress, separate from the map.
• Versus is a two-minute race on one shared board.

A board only ever asks for a word in ordinary use. Any other word the wheel can spell still counts, as a bonus, so a large vocabulary is rewarded and never required.

Streaks and mends

A missed day dims the chain; it does not break it. You may mend one missed day per rolling week, and Meridian only ever offers a day on or after the day you first played. The habit horizon counts the days you have practised towards sixty-six.

Apple Game Center

Game Center is optional and begins off. Open Settings inside Meridian and turn on Use Game Center to be matched with a real player and to post leaderboard scores. Turning it on asks Apple Game Center to authenticate you.

With Game Center off, versus matches are played against Meridian’s own opponent, nothing leaves your device, and the rest of the app is unaffected. With it on, Meridian looks for a real player for about twelve seconds and uses its own opponent if nobody is available. The screen always says which one you got.

Game Center sign-in, display name, friends, leaderboards, notifications, privacy settings, and deletion requests are Apple services. Manage them in your device Settings under Game Center. If Game Center is unavailable or signed out, Meridian says so and offers the practice opponent instead.

Storage, deletion, and recovery

Your guesses, results, streak, mends, level progress, collected words, gems, unlocked themes and marks, recent match results, and settings are stored by Meridian on your device. Myworkingmemory LLC has no copy and cannot read, recover, edit, export, or delete them for you.

Erase everything on this device in Settings deletes that play record after asking you to confirm. Deleting the app also deletes it, subject to Apple backups you control. Game Center information remains with Apple.

Upgrading from version 1 carries your existing streak and daily results forward on the same installation. The three-game ledger is stored in the device keychain and, when available, in your own Apple iCloud key-value store so reinstalling or changing devices does not restart it. Myworkingmemory LLC cannot read it and offers no Company recovery account.

Gems and the collection

In this version, gems are earned by solving the daily word, finishing levels and journey stops, finding bonus words, and playing matches. Themes, player marks, and tile styles are unlocked with gems. Full Journey unlocks access to this reward system.

Accessibility

Wheel words can be entered by tracing or by tapping letters and using the submit button. Meridian follows the system Reduce Motion and Differentiate Without Colour settings, uses text or shapes alongside key colour states, and provides accessibility labels for its controls. A hardware keyboard can enter words directly.

The three free games

Meridian is free to download and includes three finished games. A game is counted when a play reaches its result: a daily word played through to its answer, a World level finished, a Daily Journey stop finished, or a match played to its final score. Opening something and leaving before a result costs nothing.

The three are shared across all modes. Home shows how many remain. Replaying a finished level is a new result and uses another game; Meridian explains that before the replay begins.

Reinstalling Meridian does not renew the allowance. When iCloud is available, the same three are shared across your Apple devices.

The Full Journey

In this version, Full Journey unlocks every World level, Today’s Word each day, every Daily Journey, matches against Game Center players and Meridian’s own opponent, the library and insights, and access to every earnable theme, mark and tile style on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Vision Pro.

The offer appears after the third result, whenever a player with no games remaining tries to start a mode, and from Settings. The finished third result remains visible until the player leaves it. Progress, library, insights, collection, settings and these documents remain available without Full Journey.

If you bought Meridian before it became a free download, Full Journey is already unlocked. If it is missing on a device, choose Restore Purchase while signed in with the Apple Account that obtained Meridian.

Purchase and refunds

Apple is the seller. Apple handles payment, Family Sharing eligibility, receipts, and refund decisions, and the price you see is Apple’s price in your own currency. Request a refund through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

If a purchase is waiting for approval — Ask to Buy, or a bank confirmation — Full Journey unlocks when Apple approves it. If you cancel, nothing is charged and your progress is unchanged.

Privacy and legal

Meridian asks you to accept the Terms before play and keeps that acceptance on your device; you can see it in Settings. Your gameplay record is not sent to Myworkingmemory LLC. The bounded trial ledger may use your Apple iCloud account, and optional Game Center information goes to Apple and, during a live match, to the matched player as described in the Privacy Policy.
