Halcyon support
Halcyon is a local-first word game with an endless Open Sky, short Passages, earned or purchased Crystals, optional Apple Game Center progress, and clear optional purchases. It runs on iPhone and iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro where those versions are offered by the App Store.

Open Sky
Nine letters sit on the board. Tap letters in order to make a word of three letters or more, then choose Weave. A valid word dissolves and new letters arrive; an invalid word returns without a penalty. Release clears the selection, and Drift rearranges the existing letters.
Open Sky has no clock, lives, or fail state. Halcyon repairs the board when needed so another word remains possible. The bundled word-game list is broad but does not include every proper noun, abbreviation, hyphenated expression, or English word.
Passages, the beginner challenge, and daily missions
A Passage asks for several exact word lengths on the same board. Every accepted word still counts, earns Crystals, and affects the thread even when its length is not required. Completing every slot gives the session a clear finish, a fixed Crystal reward, a small free Starfall surprise, and a choice between the next Passage and Open Sky.
The first 30 Passages form the First Constellation beginner challenge. The Passage ladder continues after level 30. Three daily missions reset at Halcyon's 4 a.m. local boundary. Their rewards and all Passage progress are stored on this device.
Crystals, the thread, and the Lantern
Crystals are earned by weaving words, completing Passages, and completing daily missions. Exact Crystal packs are also available through Apple. Earned and purchased Crystals use one local wallet; purchased Crystals do not expire. Crystals have no cash value and cannot be transferred outside the game.
After two woven words, the Lantern can reveal the length and first letter of a longer word already on the current board. The first Glimpse is free. Later Glimpses cost 60 Crystals; Trace costs 180 and lights the word's tiles without ordering them. Moon Hold costs 150 and preserves a live thread through one otherwise unlinked valid word. A sky or figure pattern may also be unlocked permanently for the displayed Crystal amount.
What Halcyon sells
First Light is an optional, one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. It permanently unlocks all eight visual palettes and provides one complimentary Glimpse during each Halcyon night. A Halcyon night resets at 4 a.m. local time; an unused complimentary Glimpse does not accumulate. First Light does not buy Crystals, words, Passage access, a score, or an advantage on the Passage Ladder.
Constellation Collection is also a permanent purchase. It unlocks Moon Garden, The Fox, and Aurora Trail; words still place every dot. Crystal packs deliver the exact displayed amount. The Moon Jar adds bonus Crystals as you play and freezes the exact amount shown when its opening purchase begins. A full-moon night may spill part of the jar into the wallet free.
Apple shows the controlling localized price before confirmation and processes payment, restoration, and refund requests. Halcyon has no subscription, paid random reward, loot box, or advertising. Choose Restore permanent purchases in the store while using the Apple Account that made an eligible permanent purchase. Consumable Crystal purchases are delivered once and are not restored by that control. Family Sharing and cross-device availability follow Apple's rules and each product's App Store configuration.
A customer whose original paid Halcyon download is verified by Apple as predating the free update receives Founder's Sky, which includes the full First Light benefits without another charge. If Apple cannot verify that transaction, Halcyon hides the offer rather than risk charging an eligible prior owner.
Apple Game Center
Game Center is optional. Halcyon asks Apple's Game Center service to authenticate when the app starts. If you are signed in, Halcyon may send your highest completed Passage and progress toward four achievements to Apple. It does not send the words you weave, your board, your Crystal balance, or your complete local history.
Open Journey to view the Passage Ladder and Game Center dashboard. Manage Game Center identity, visibility, and sign-in in your Apple device settings. Halcyon's entire local game remains playable if Game Center is unavailable or you are signed out.
Storage, deletion, and moving devices
Your board, words, Crystals, Passages, missions, settings, and local purchase-fulfillment record are stored in Halcyon's app container on this device. Myworkingmemory LLC has no gameplay server and cannot read, recover, edit, export, or transfer that record for you. Deleting Halcyon removes its local record, subject to device backups and migration controlled by Apple and your settings.
Apple separately keeps App Store purchase and Game Center records. Restoring permanent purchases does not restore local gameplay, consumable Crystals, or Passage progress.
Accessibility and long sessions
Halcyon supports VoiceOver, Voice Control, Larger Text, Reduced Motion, a dark interface, strong contrast, and selection marks that do not rely on color alone. Long session gradually dims the game's presentation over about twenty minutes. If something is difficult to read, reach, or identify, email us.
Refunds, privacy, and legal
Request an Apple refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. Myworkingmemory LLC does not control Apple's refund decision.
