Doodle Blackboard Privacy Policy
Effective August 18, 2026 Myworkingmemory LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company
This Privacy Policy explains how Myworkingmemory LLC (the "Company," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with Doodle Blackboard for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro, its product pages, and support (collectively, the "Services"). The Doodle Blackboard Terms of Use are separate from this factual privacy notice.
1. Short version
Doodle Blackboard is designed to keep your boards on your device. The App has no Myworkingmemory account, Company cloud, analytics SDK, advertising SDK, or cross-app tracking. It does not upload your drawings or labels to us. The App uses Apple's App Store services to offer and restore the optional one-time Pro upgrade. If you contact support, visit our website, export a board, share a board, or use an Apple service, those actions can involve information as described below.
2. Boards and local storage
Drawings, board names, surfaces, and text labels are stored in the App's local container on your iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple Vision Pro. We cannot read or retrieve that content. There is no Company-provided account, cloud sync, public gallery, or remote board storage.
You control deletion through the App's board controls or by deleting the App. Deleting the App may not delete copies in Apple-managed device backups, files you exported, content you shared, or copies retained by recipients. Your device, backup, file-provider, and sharing settings are controlled by you and Apple or another provider you choose.
3. Exports and sharing
The App exports or shares a rendered board only when you choose the relevant control. The destination, recipient, and retention of that copy are controlled by you and the operating-system service or third-party service you select. The App does not send an export to the Company.
4. Purchases and Apple services
Apple independently processes the App download and the optional non-consumable Doodle Blackboard Pro purchase, including payment credentials, tax, fraud, refunds, revocations, purchase history, and Apple Account information under Apple's terms and privacy policy. We do not receive your full payment-card number, bank-account number, or Apple Account password.
The App uses StoreKit to request product information, complete a purchase, check current entitlement, receive transaction updates, and restore a purchase. We do not operate a purchase server. Apple may make limited App Store Connect records available to us, such as product, proceeds, refund, storefront, territory, app-version, device-category, crash, diagnostic, and aggregate performance information, depending on Apple's systems and your settings. Those records do not include your boards or labels.
5. Support communications
If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and anything you choose to attach. We use it to answer, investigate the issue, protect the Services, and maintain reasonable legal and business records. Do not send private boards, health information, financial details, credentials, or other sensitive content; a description and nonconfidential example are normally enough.
6. Website information
The Doodle Blackboard pages are static pages hosted by a service provider. Like ordinary web hosting, the provider may process request information such as IP address, browser or device information, requested path, time, and security logs to deliver and protect the site. Visiting the website is separate from using the App.
7. Information not collected through ordinary App use
The App does not transmit to Company your drawings, labels, board names, file paths, contacts, precise location, camera or microphone data, biometric or health data, advertising identifier, browsing history, or App usage events. It contains no third-party advertising or analytics SDK and does not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Apple may independently process device, transaction, diagnostic, and related information for its platform services. We do not control Apple's practices.
8. How limited information may be used or disclosed
We use information we actually receive to provide support, operate and secure the website, maintain and improve the product, administer App Store distribution, comply with law and platform rules, prevent fraud or abuse, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We may disclose that limited information to website and email providers acting for us; Apple for distribution, purchases, refunds, fraud prevention, and App Review; professional advisers, insurers, and business-operation providers; authorities or litigants when legally required or reasonably necessary; and a successor or transaction party in a financing, reorganization, merger, or sale, subject to appropriate safeguards. We may also disclose information at your direction or with your consent.
9. Retention and security
Your boards remain under your control on your devices and in copies you create. We retain support messages, ordinary website records available to us, App Store business records, and legal records only as long as reasonably necessary for support, security, accounting, tax, dispute, legal-compliance, and business purposes. Providers and Apple control their own retention under their policies.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the limited information we receive. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. You are responsible for device access controls, backups, exports, shared copies, and recipients you choose.
10. Children and sensitive information
Doodle Blackboard is general-audience creative software and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child through the App. If you believe a child sent information to support, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
The App is not a medical, mental-health, therapeutic, biometric, financial, legal, or other professional service. It does not ask for or transmit health or other sensitive information. Do not include sensitive information in support messages or exports you share.
11. Privacy rights and international use
Depending on where you live and which law applies, you may have rights to ask about, access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information we hold, or to appeal a denied request. Email us with the product name and request. We may verify identity and authority and may retain information when law permits or requires. Because we do not receive App board content, we cannot access, export, correct, or delete it for you.
We operate from the United States. If you contact us or visit the website from another country, information may be processed in the United States and by the providers you choose, subject to applicable law. Apple separately controls its international platform processing.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy to reflect product, legal, provider, or operational changes. The current version will show a new effective date. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent if required for a materially different use.
