Myworkingmemory LLC
PostHandoff Privacy Policy
Effective July 21, 2026 · Myworkingmemory LLC, Nashville, Tennessee, United States
1. Scope and company
Myworkingmemory LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") provides the PostHandoff iPhone and iPad application (the "App"). This policy explains information handling in the App, on Company websites, and when you contact Company.
2. How the App works
The App accepts text or a structured content-plan file that you choose to paste, open, import, or send through its Share extension. Imported material remains an unapproved draft until you review it and expressly approve scheduling. The App stores approved plans locally, may schedule local notifications through iOS, and can present system copying and sharing controls when you decide to hand content to another app.
Version 1.0 does not sign in to Instagram, Meta, OpenAI, or another LLM provider; does not automatically publish; and does not upload your content to a Company server.
3. Information stored locally
Depending on what you choose to use, the App may store the following only on your device:
- plan titles, months, time zones, dates, times, and approval status;
- captions, hashtags, creative direction, alt text, and post status;
- photos or videos you explicitly attach;
- pending text you explicitly send to the Share extension;
- notification identifiers and settings needed to schedule or cancel local reminders; and
- small aggregate usage counters, such as app opens, plans approved, handoffs started, posts marked complete, and workflow failures.
The local counters never contain your captions, hashtags, user-entered words, dates, filenames, file paths, URLs, media, contact information, or advertising identifiers. They are not transmitted to Company.
4. Clipboard, Files, Photos, Share extension, and notifications
The App reads clipboard text only after you activate its paste control. It accesses a file only when you choose it or open it with the App. It receives Share-extension content only after you choose “Send to PostHandoff” and confirm the transfer. It accesses media only after you choose an item through Apple's picker or another system-provided control.
Local notifications require your permission. iOS controls authorization, scheduling, Focus behavior, delivery, and system settings. Notification text is intentionally generic and does not include your caption or hashtags.
5. Copying, sharing, and third-party apps
When you copy or share a post, you direct iOS to place information on the system clipboard or send selected items to an activity you choose. Apple, Instagram, Meta, an LLM provider, cloud-storage provider, messaging service, or another destination may then process that information under its own terms and privacy policy. Company does not control or observe what a third-party destination accepts, retains, publishes, or rejects.
6. Information Company does not collect through ordinary App use
Company does not collect through ordinary App use your content plans, captions, hashtags, media, scheduled dates, clipboard, contacts, precise location, advertising identifier, payment-card number, social-media credentials, LLM credentials, device identifier, or local usage counters. The App does not sell personal information, share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, or track you across other companies' apps or websites.
7. App Store and Apple data
Apple processes App Store purchases, taxes, refunds, Family Sharing, ratings, reviews, crash information, and App Store analytics under Apple's own policies. Company may receive aggregated sales, proceeds, product-page, download, refund, crash, or diagnostic information from Apple. Company does not receive your full payment-card number from Apple.
8. Website and support data
If you visit a Company website, hosting and security providers may process routine technical information such as IP address, request time, user agent, approximate country, referrer, security signals, and error or performance logs. If you contact support, Company receives the contact information, message, and attachments you choose to send. Do not send captions, private media, credentials, or sensitive third-party information unless you want Company to review it for support.
9. Uses and disclosures
Company uses the limited information it receives to provide support; operate, secure, debug, and improve Company systems; understand App Store performance; comply with law and platform rules; prevent fraud or abuse; and protect users, Company, and others. Company may disclose that information to service providers, Apple, professional advisers, transaction partners, authorities when legally required, or another party at your direction.
10. Retention and deletion
You can edit or delete posts and plans inside the App. Deleting the App removes its local container from the device, subject to backups and synchronization controlled by your Apple account, device, or services you choose. Company cannot access or delete local App content for you.
Support, security, legal, tax, and business records may be retained as reasonably necessary for their purpose and applicable obligations. Deidentified or aggregate information may be retained where permitted.
11. Security and children
Company uses reasonable safeguards appropriate to the App's local-data posture, but no device or transmission method is perfectly secure. Protect your device, passcode, Apple account, backups, clipboard, and sharing destinations.
The App is a general productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13. Company does not knowingly collect personal information from children through ordinary App use.
12. International and regional rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal information Company actually holds, including access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, or appeal. Because ordinary App content stays on your device, Company generally has no copy to retrieve or delete. Send a request to the contact below; Company may need to verify the request and may retain information where legally permitted or required.
13. Changes
Company may update this policy when the App, law, platform rules, or data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version. A future direct-publishing, account, cloud, or transmitted-analytics feature would require updated disclosures and controls before release.
