What is free?

The Daily Quartet, Quick Five, 23 handcrafted puzzles, the local Quartet Workshop, the Pattern Book, and every answer explanation are free. There is no advertising, account, life system, or subscription.

What does Complete Oddword include?

Complete Oddword is one non-consumable in-app purchase that unlocks the full collection of 60 launch puzzles. Apple’s purchase screen shows the current local price before you buy.

What are Lenses?

One Lens marks two words that belong together before you commit an answer. Completing the Daily Quartet earns one Lens per local day. Optional packs contain 10, 50, or 150 Lenses. Bought Lenses do not expire. They are consumable purchases, so Apple does not restore them. The balance is stored on this device and can be lost if the App or its local data is deleted.

Earlier paid-download customers

If Apple verifies that you obtained Oddword before it became free, Founder Access unlocks the complete collection without another charge and adds ten bonus Lenses once. Open the Oddword Store and choose Restore Complete Oddword if that access is missing.

Purchases and restores

Apple processes every purchase. Complete Oddword can be restored while signed in to the Apple Account that owns it. Lens packs are consumable and are not restored by Apple. If a completed purchase does not appear, restart the App, check the Apple Account, then use Restore Complete Oddword.

Progress and deletion

Answers, progress, settings, and the Lens balance are stored locally. Oddword has no Company account or sync service. Deleting the App can delete that local information, subject to backups controlled by Apple and your device settings.
