Metadata Cleaner local edition — v1 terms
Developed and supported by Myworkingmemory LLC. Purchases of these local packs are sold through Stripe Managed Payments (Link), which acts as merchant of record. Support and refund requests: dean@myworkingmemory.ai.
Your pack
$2.99 USD once buys 50 additional verified cleans per installation for the platform selected at checkout (OpenAI local, Kimi or MiniMax). No automatic renewal. No expiry. Taxes, if applicable, appear at checkout. Three free verified cleans per installation and unlimited free inspection. A successful verified PDF or DOCX output consumes one clean. Failed or unsupported files do not consume cleans; retrying the same completed operation does not consume another. Batch folders consume one clean for each verified output.
License: One purchase covers you, the buyer. Install on your own computers as needed; each computer tracks its own 50 cleans. Your key is for your use only, not sharing with other people, including coworkers or household members. Technical protections are best-effort; we ask, we don't spy. The purchase covers compatible v1.x updates. Future major versions may be separate purchases. OpenAI local, Kimi, MiniMax, hosted and Apple editions have separate purchases and balances.
Privacy
Your documents never leave your computer through the cleaning tool. The cleaning tool itself makes zero network calls; all processing is local. Two things do travel: your purchase and license-delivery details (handled by Stripe/Link and our email delivery provider), and, as with any tool you use through an AI assistant, filenames and tool results may be processed by the AI service you're running (MiniMax, Kimi, or another provider). Do not upload documents to the assistant if you want them to stay local; give the tool local file paths instead. The assistant's other tools and permissions are outside this cleaner's control.
Balances and a recoverable operation journal stay in your OS user data directory, outside the plugin installation. The journal contains paths, hashes, timestamps and license IDs, never document contents or extracted metadata values. Backups include signed license keys: share only with trusted support. No analytics, hardware fingerprint or license verification request is sent by the cleaner.
Supported files and limits
PDF and DOCX up to 10 MiB input. Complexity, compressed expansion and unsupported structures can cause smaller files to be refused safely. Encrypted files, pending PDF redactions and certain embedded structures are unsupported. Cleaning removes supported document metadata; it is not content redaction or a guarantee of anonymity. Visible text, images, hyperlinks and identifying information within them can remain. Embedded image metadata is not removed in v1; review the report. Approve tracked-change acceptance, hidden-text removal or custom-XML removal before cleaning affected Word files. Originals are preserved. Review cleaned copies before sharing. JPG is not supported in this release.
Refunds and support
Request a refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked, at dean@myworkingmemory.ai with your order or license ID. Stripe/Link is the merchant of record for these local-pack purchases; refunds are processed through the original payment method. Offline licenses cannot be remotely revoked: after a refund, stop using the refunded license. Local state can be copied, rolled back or modified, and code can be patched; technical protections are best-effort. Ordinary updates/reinstallation preserve the data directory but do not prevent deliberate resets.
If a clean appears to have been charged incorrectly, provide your license ID. Support may request your exported journal, with your consent, alongside purchase records. A discretionary one-time 10-clean goodwill license may be issued per original paid license. It uses the normal import tool and is not an entitlement to repeated compensation.
