# Keep a public product-price history

1. Open the [Shopify API on Apify](https://apify.com/myworkingmemory/shopify-store-extractor) in your own account and review its current pricing.
2. Choose [n8n comparison downloads](https://www.myworkingmemory.ai/n8n.html#shopify) or [Zapier setup](https://www.myworkingmemory.ai/zapier.html). The Actor is `myworkingmemory~shopify-store-extractor`.
3. Replace `https://your-store.example` with your public store, collection or product URL. The native Zapier Actor field accepts JSON such as `[{"url":"YOUR_PUBLIC_HTTPS_URL"}]`.
4. Start with 10 products, one catalog page, two requests and 30 seconds; keep optional enrichments off. Confirm the schedule and timezone before enabling recurring work. Zapier's result Limit controls downloaded rows, not spending.
5. With n8n, save the first snapshot and supply it as previousSnapshot next time to compare matching products. With the submitted Zapier design, select your Drive folder to keep each dataset CSV.

A bounded observation may have limited coverage. Missing products do not establish deletion, and public purchasability is not exact inventory quantity. Apify usage and platform plans are separate.
