TUG LINE Support
Build an army. Read the enemy. Break their line. TUG LINE is a one-lane strategy game for iPhone and iPad. This page includes help for the native 3D version 2.0; availability and included features depend on the version installed and the App Store listing in your region.
Battle and camera controls
Units march and fight automatically after deployment. Watch the enemy's composition and choose reinforcements that counter it. Income upgrades build your later army; Fortify strengthens your keep. Cataclysm is a limited, powerful battlefield reset.
In the native 3D game, drag with one finger to orbit, drag with two fingers to move the camera, and pinch to zoom. Front returns the camera to the active fight. Settings also includes camera buttons, sound, haptics, and reduced effects. System Reduce Motion is respected.
Play another person online
In the native 3D update, choose Play Online, sign in with Game Center when asked, and invite a friend or find an opponent. Both players need compatible versions and separate Game Center accounts, with multiplayer permitted in their Apple settings. Online matchmaking does not silently replace a missing human with an AI opponent; choose Practice if you want a solo battle. Availability depends on your installed version, Apple's services, and other players being available.
Keep both games open during a match. A connection failure, sign-out, or interruption can end the session; uninterrupted reconnection is not guaranteed. Read the status message and reconnect when needed. Both players must accept a rematch. If sign-in or invitations fail, check Settings → Game Center, your internet connection, and Screen Time multiplayer restrictions. Do not send support your password or verification codes.
Free play and the permanent expansion
The native 3D update's free play includes human 1v1, unlimited solo practice, all eight competitive combat units, and the first three campaign battles. Full Campaign adds nine campaign battles, three solo champion opponents within the campaign, replayable three-battle expeditions, and three decorative keep styles. Campaign battles open in order as you win the preceding battle; buying access does not automatically complete missions. Keep styles are cosmetic, including when shown to a human opponent. Champions are solo opponents, not paid units for competitive play.
This is one non-consumable purchase, not a subscription, and it does not sell competitive combat power or battle currency. The Apple purchase sheet shows the actual localized price before confirmation. Features described for the update may not yet appear in your installed version; check the App Store version and its included content before buying. Crowns earned through play also unlock visual styles. Previously saved rewards and purchase records remain in the local profile.
Purchase and restore help
Use the Apple Account that made the purchase, then open Settings and choose Restore Purchases. Keep the app open while Apple checks ownership. If the offer says Check previous purchase, let it verify your earlier purchase before trying to pay again. If ownership or pricing cannot be verified, retry when connected to the App Store or contact support; do not assume an unavailable price means you need a second purchase. If a family approval request is pending, check with your organizer before requesting again. Cancellation does not remove free play or saved progress.
For a refund, use the request option in the app when available or visit Apple's purchase support. Apple decides refund eligibility. An approved campaign refund removes paid access but preserves earned progress, so it is available if access is restored later.
The update includes the expansion for verified buyers of the original paid TUG LINE release. Apple must verify that original purchase with the same Apple Account; local mission progress is separate from purchase ownership.
Share a real battle
After a finished battle, choose Share this battle to review a card made from the actual battlefield and result, then choose where to share. The generated card excludes opponent names and account identifiers. Sharing is optional and does not send anything until you choose a destination and confirm with that service. If the image is unavailable, the result and game link can still be shared.
Saved progress and troubleshooting
Progress and settings are stored on the device. Restore Purchases restores verified ownership, not mission progress. Keep normal Apple device backups; deleting the app can delete its local saves. There is no Myworkingmemory account to recover. If the game reports a save error, free device storage and reopen the app. Do not delete the app as a first troubleshooting step.
If the game stutters, turn on Reduce visual effects and let the device cool. Close and reopen the app after an interruption. The optional Wi-Fi Duel uses the separate classic presentation and requires two devices on the same local network; connection codes should be shared only with your intended opponent.
