Static: Save Websites Locally Support
Help with local PageCards, saved pages, and PDF snapshots
Contact support
Email dean@myworkingmemory.ai.
For a useful reply, include your device type, iOS or iPadOS version, Static app version and build, the steps you took, what you expected, and what happened.
Do not send a private URL, note, saved page, visual copy, PDF, or confidential material unless you want Myworkingmemory LLC to review it for support.
What Static stores
Static creates local PageCards that may contain a source URL, saved date, your note, a visual copy, a PDF snapshot, and related local metadata. The current app does not require a Company account and does not use a Company-operated cloud library for PageCards.
Your device requests pages directly from third-party websites. A site may block or limit a request, and dynamic, authenticated, interactive, or remotely loaded material may not be preserved completely.
Local data and backups
PageCards ordinarily remain in the app's local device storage until you delete them, delete the app, erase the device, or an operating-system or storage event removes them. Myworkingmemory LLC cannot recover local content it never received.
Use device backups or exported copies when preservation matters. Reinstalling the app may not restore PageCards or saved content.
Purchase and refunds
Static is a paid-upfront App Store download with no in-app purchases or recurring paid plan in the current app. Apple controls billing, receipts, Family Sharing, redownloads, refunds, and App Store purchase records.
Privacy and analytics
Static uses PostHog for limited anonymous product-interaction analytics with a randomly generated installation identifier. Person profiles, advertising, cross-app tracking, session replay, screen recording, and automatic event capture are disabled.
An explicit blocked-property sanitizer is designed to prevent URLs, notes, user-created text, filenames, file paths, page contents, visual copies, media, PDF contents, transaction identifiers, contact information, and sensitive values from entering analytics events.
