Two Lists: For You & For Them

Two Lists: For You & For Them ("Two Lists," "the App") is provided by Myworkingmemory LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). We designed Two Lists to be a simple private reminder app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we do and do not collect.

short version

We do not sell your data. We do not run advertising in the App. We do not create a Company account for you. Your reminders are stored on your device and, if Apple iCloud sync is available and enabled, through Apple's iCloud/CloudKit systems. The App sends limited product-interaction analytics so we can understand whether the App opens, whether basic reminder actions work, and which app version/build is being used. Reminder titles, notes, dates, and notification content are not sent to us through analytics.

information you put in the App

The App lets you create reminders, notes, dates, times, recurrence settings, completion states, and related reminder settings. This content may include personal or sensitive information if you choose to type it into the App.

We do not operate a Company server that receives or reads your reminder content. Your reminder content is stored locally on your device and may be synced through Apple iCloud/CloudKit if your device, Apple account, and app settings support it. Apple's services are governed by Apple's own terms and privacy policies.

notifications

If you allow notifications, the App may schedule local notifications on your device so reminders can alert you. Notification delivery depends on Apple iOS, macOS, your device settings, Focus modes, battery state, permissions, and other conditions outside our control.

product analytics

The App may send limited product-interaction events to PostHog, our analytics provider, such as app opened, app installed, app updated, reminder created, reminder updated, reminder completed, reminder deleted, app version, build number, platform, and a random per-install identifier. These events help us find reliability problems, understand whether new versions are working, and make product decisions.

Analytics events are not used for advertising or cross-app tracking. They do not include reminder titles, notes, dates, times, email addresses, phone numbers, file paths, precise location, payment-card data, or other reminder content.

purchases

The App is sold through Apple's App Store. Purchase, payment, refund, tax, and App Store account information are handled by Apple, not by us. We do not receive your full payment card details from Apple.

support emails

If you email us for support, we may receive your email address and anything you choose to include in the message, such as screenshots, device information, iOS or macOS version, or a description of the issue. We use that information only to respond to you, troubleshoot, protect our rights, and improve the App.

Please do not send sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your support request.

website information

If you visit our website or pages such as this Privacy Policy, basic technical information may be processed by our hosting provider, browser, device, network provider, or security tools. This may include IP address, browser type, requested page, referring page, and timestamp. We use this kind of information to operate, secure, and maintain our website.

what we do not do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not rent your personal information.
• We do not use your reminder content for advertising.
• We do not use your reminder content to train AI models.
• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
• We do not include third-party advertising SDKs in the App.
• We do not use analytics events for cross-app tracking or advertising.

disclosure of information

We may disclose information if required to do so by law, subpoena, court order, legal process, or government request; to protect the rights, safety, property, and security of the Company, its founder, employees, contractors, users, or others; to investigate fraud, abuse, or security issues; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction.

your choices

• You can delete reminders inside the App.
• You can disable notifications in iOS or macOS Settings.
• You can delete the App from your device.
• You can manage iCloud data through Apple's iCloud and device settings.
• You can contact us about support emails or privacy questions.

data retention

Reminder data remains on your device and/or Apple iCloud according to your device, iCloud, backup, and app settings. Support emails may be retained as long as reasonably necessary for support, business, legal, security, and recordkeeping purposes.

security

We use reasonable administrative and technical practices appropriate for a small native app. No app, device, network, storage system, or transmission method is perfectly secure. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we cannot guarantee absolute security or uninterrupted access.

international users

If you use the App or contact us from outside the United States, you understand that information you provide to us, such as support emails, may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.

changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the updated policy to the extent permitted by law.
