Draftlight Support
Focused writing, clear purchase help, and private-draft support.
What Draftlight 2.0 includes
Draftlight is a focused writing app for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Vision Pro, and Apple Watch companion dictation. It requires no Company account.
Free
- Create, edit, organize, pin, search, and share unlimited drafts
- Use Markdown, section folding, draft links, backlinks, and a table of contents
- Sketch with Apple Pencil on iPad, save web links and selected text from the share sheet on iPhone and iPad, dictate from Apple Watch, and create drafts with Siri or Shortcuts
- Export TXT, Markdown, TextBundle, rich text, and Draftlight files
Draftlight Pro
One non-consumable purchase; no subscription or recurring charge. The U.S. reference price is $2.99, and Apple displays and charges the applicable localized price.
- Sync through your private iCloud database across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro
- Encrypt individual drafts with a writer-known password and lock the App with supported Apple device authentication
- Export HTML, DOCX, PDF, JPG, and ePub
- Search text inside images and PDFs
- Use Spotlight plus @todo, @images, and @yesterday searches
- Choose fonts and control line height, page width, and paragraph spacing
- Use multi-word and nested tags, pinned tags, and tag icons
- Put tasks inside drafts and see every draft containing tasks
Restore Pro
- Use the same Apple Account that made the purchase.
- Open Draftlight Pro and choose Restore Purchases.
- Keep the App open while Apple verifies the purchase.
- If restoration fails, confirm App Store access, reopen Draftlight, and try Restore Purchases again before contacting support.
iCloud sync and deletion
- Confirm iCloud Drive is on and each device uses the same Apple Account.
- Confirm Draftlight Pro is active, then turn sync on inside Draftlight.
- Allow time for Apple to deliver changes before editing the same draft on another device.
- Use Draftlight's iCloud control to delete its private CloudKit copy. Local copies, Apple backups, another device, and files you exported may remain until separately deleted.
Passwords, privacy, and analytics
- Company cannot recover a forgotten writer-known draft password. Keep an independent copy of irreplaceable work.
- Draftlight cannot read your Face ID, fingerprint, or biometric template; Apple supplies only an authentication result.
- Optional pseudonymous, non-content product-use analytics is off until you choose it. Change the choice at any time in Privacy & Analytics settings.
- Company cannot access or recover drafts stored locally or in your private iCloud database.
Before contacting support
- Install the current App and operating-system update available to you.
- Close and reopen Draftlight, then retry the affected action.
- Do not email confidential draft content unless you want Company to review that material for support.
