Anti-Sleep: Keep Mac Awake Privacy Policy

The Anti-Sleep: Keep Mac Awake app itself does not collect, transmit, sell, share, track, or analyze your personal data. It does its job on your Mac.

This Privacy Policy explains how Myworkingmemory LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use Anti-Sleep: Keep Mac Awake, contact us for support, or visit our related support or policy pages.

Summary

Information the app collects

None. Anti-Sleep: Keep Mac Awake does not collect personal information or usage data through the app. The app contains no analytics, telemetry, advertising, tracking, account system, or network-based app service.

Information processed on your Mac

Anti-Sleep: Keep Mac Awake processes limited information locally on your Mac only to provide the features you request. Local processing does not mean we receive, store, or review that information.

Local storage, backups, and deletion

Anti-Sleep: Keep Mac Awake preferences remain on your Mac until you change them, reset them, delete the app, or change your device or storage settings. Because we do not receive local-only app data, we cannot access, recover, restore, or delete it for you.

Depending on your Mac and Apple account settings, local app preferences may be included in device backups or other Apple-controlled backup or migration features. We do not control Apple’s backup, iCloud, migration, or device settings.

Deleting Anti-Sleep: Keep Mac Awake, deleting local files, resetting your Mac, disabling backups, or losing access to your Mac may permanently delete local app preferences or related local data.

Information you choose to provide

If you contact us for support, feedback, legal, privacy, or other requests, we collect the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message, screenshots, attachments, diagnostic details, and any other information you include.

Please do not send passwords, full payment-card numbers, government identification numbers, health information, legal secrets, confidential business information, or other sensitive information unless it is necessary for your request. Screenshots and attachments may contain personal information; please review and remove or obscure information you do not want to share before sending them.

We use support communications to respond to you, troubleshoot issues, improve app reliability, maintain business records, comply with law, enforce our terms, and protect our rights and users.

Website and policy-page information

When you visit our website, support pages, Terms of Use, or this Privacy Policy, our hosting provider may process technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referring page, and timestamps to provide, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot the website. We do not use that information for tracking or cross-context behavioral advertising.

Purchases

Anti-Sleep: Keep Mac Awake purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number. Apple may process purchase, refund, tax, receipt, account, and device information under Apple’s terms and privacy practices. We may receive or process limited purchase or entitlement information only as needed to provide the app, respond to support requests, prevent fraud, maintain records, or comply with law.

Apple diagnostics

If you choose to share crash or diagnostic information with Apple through macOS or App Store settings, Apple may make limited crash or diagnostic information available to developers through Apple’s developer tools and privacy practices. Anti-Sleep: Keep Mac Awake does not include a third-party crash-reporting SDK.

Information we do not collect

We do not collect, receive, store, review, sell, share, or transmit your Anti-Sleep: Keep Mac Awake preferences, session history, battery readings, power-source readings, notification content, or usage activity through the app.

Service providers

We may use service providers that help us operate, maintain, secure, host, or support the app, website, email, and business records. These providers may process limited information only for the purposes described in this Policy and subject to contractual, technical, or legal restrictions. For example, our email provider may process support emails you choose to send, and our hosting provider may process technical website logs.

Legal disclosures and protection of rights

We may disclose information we maintain if we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law, legal process, subpoena, court order, government request, App Store process, or other valid legal requirement, or if disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, safety, security, or property of us, users, Apple, or others.

Because Anti-Sleep: Keep Mac Awake app data is generally stored only on your Mac and not collected by us, we may not possess information requested by users, law enforcement, litigants, or third parties.

Business transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, transfer of the app, or similar transaction, information we maintain may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy or a replacement policy disclosed as required by law. This does not mean we can transfer local-only app data we do not possess.

Retention

Local app preferences are retained on your Mac until you change them, delete them, delete the app, or change your device/storage settings. Because we do not receive local-only app data, we cannot delete it for you.

Support communications and related business records are retained for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to respond to you, troubleshoot issues, maintain records, comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect our rights. We may retain information longer where required or permitted by law.

Your choices and rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of certain personal information. We will respond to privacy requests as required by applicable law. We may retain information where required or permitted by law, including for security, fraud prevention, accounting, tax, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our agreements.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we process. No method of electronic storage or transmission is guaranteed to be completely secure.

Children

Anti-Sleep: Keep Mac Awake is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it as required by law.

International users

Myworkingmemory LLC is located in the United States. If you contact us or use services that process information outside your country, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate.

Changes to this Policy

We reserve the right to update, revise, replace, or supplement this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will be posted on this page. Changes are effective when posted unless we state otherwise. If we make material changes to how we collect, use, or share personal information, we will provide notice as required by law and, where required, obtain consent before applying the change. Continued use of Anti-Sleep: Keep Mac Awake after a revised Policy becomes effective means the revised Policy applies to future use, subject to any non-waivable privacy rights you may have under applicable law.

Governing law

To the extent permitted by law, this Policy and disputes relating to this Policy are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This does not limit any mandatory privacy rights you may have under laws that apply to you.
